Our 8 days gulet cruise will start in Bodrum and ends in Göcek near Dalaman Airport. We will be cruising along the Turkey’s magnificent Mediterranean and Aegean coast by traditional wooden motor yachts called Gulet. We select the best gulet boats for our small group cruises. I will be your onboard tour leader to arrange our daily activities and make sure you have a great time. All our meals are (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) included and served by the experienced crew. It is not only archaeological discoveries, there is also plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. Small Group Escorted Gulet Cruise from Bodrum to Göcek following the Aegean and Mediterranean Coast in Turkey. We take maximum 10 people on this gulet cruise. Every day, We explore magnificent coastline, swim in crystal clear waters, enjoy daily walks on shore and taste one of the best Turkish and Mediterranean food on board. We arrive at the gulet boat in Bodrum (30 minutes from Bodrum Airport)  in the late afternoon. Boarding time is around 16.00 on the first day. You are welcome to arrive earlier. We will arrange local transfer from Bodrum Airport to the gulet at the start of the tour.  We disembark in Göcek around 09.00 on the last day.We will arrange local transfer from gulet to the Dalaman Airport at the end of the trip.

8 days Turkey Gulet cruise route: From Bodrum to Göcek

Turkey Gulet Cruise Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Dalaman Airport. Transfer from Dalaman Airport to the gulet. Welcome drink and dinner on board.

Day 2: Today we cruise south to the beautiful inlet of Ağalimanı. We will walk to ancient Lydae following an ancient track. We will see the locals living in the mountains and herding their goats. We return to gulet at the end of our walk.     

Day 3: After breakfast on board, we take a local boat for our tour along the reed-lined beautiful Dalyan River. We will see the ancient city of Caunos and its ruins such as temples, monumental public buildings and famous rock hewn Lycian tombs.

Day 4: We cruise to beautiful Serçe Limanı where we will explore ancient city of Phoenix. This wild and remote ancient city offers a great views of the surrounding land.

Day 5: We contunie our cruise along the Turkey’s stunning coastline. We explore ancient Loryma today, a magnificent fortress built on a hill. This beautiful peninsula is one of southwest Turkey's most scenic regions. Olive groves, pine forest and scenic view.

Day 6: We explore ancient ruins of Knidos situated on both sides of a little peninsula. Today Knidos is an archaeological site with impressive ancient buildings. 

Day 7: Today,our last chance to swim and shop as we cruise to Bodrum, ancient Halikarnassus. We visit Crusader Castle in Bodrum, now housing the museum of underwater archaeology.

Day 8: After breakfast on board, we will arrange local transfer to Dalaman Airport. 40 minutes away.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!  All of us had an incredible time on our gulet trip in Turkey.  Thank you so much for such an amazing trip.  We loved the boat, we loved the food, we loved your enthusiasm for the incredible and rich history of Turkey.  We all learned so much and enjoyed all of the stories that you shared with us.  Everything was so seamless and easy – from being picked up at the airport, to the van pick-ups that took us to some of the sites, to the fabulous food, wine, swimming, kayaking, to getting us
back to the airport at the end!! 

I know you were working, but I do hope that you had as much fun as we did. We all really enjoyed getting to know you and everyday was a real treat. The kids had a ball as well - especially swimming and the day that we went to the abandoned Greek village - they loved that!  They also enjoyed all of the ice creams, tea, nutella, crepes and scarves that were sold on the boat!
